Farmers and foodies alike can enjoy a tour of the greenhouse at Thimble Farm, followed by a Slow Food community potluck on Thursday, April 14, at 6 pm. Farm program leader Keith Wilda will lead a 30-minute tour around the Island Grown Farm Hub’s 31,000-square-foot greenhouse, discussing the hydroponics and aquaponics systems used to grow food year-round, as well as the CSA pickup and off-season market. The potluck will start immediately following the tour at 6:30 pm. Guests should bring a dish to share for six, and personal place settings. The event is free and open to the public.
