On Feb. 26 through March 2, the West Tisbury library will offer a full schedule of crafts, lunch, film screenings, and more. According to a press release, from 10:30 am to 4 pm, drop by the children’s room for family crafts and the young adult room for tween and teen crafts each day. From 11:45 am to 12:45 pm, there will be a free soup and bread lunch in the community room. A different soup will be served each day, and all ages are welcome. The Tuesday and Thursday lunches will be provided by Island Grown Initiative.
From 1 to 3 pm, there will be a family-friendly film screened in the community room and a teen movie in the young adult room. A different movie will be shown each day, and the movie schedule can be viewed on the library’s website calendar: bit.ly/wtlevents/
On Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 10:30 am, One Love Yoga’s Emily LaPierre will lead a kids’ yoga workshop for ages 4 to 8. Sign up is required. Then on Friday, March 2, at 1 pm, an interactive screening of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” will be shown at the M.V. Film Center. Get your free ticket at mvfilmsociety.com. This event is co-sponsored by the West Tisbury library and the M.V. Film Society.
These activities are free and open to all. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a mature caregiver.
