The Polly Hill Arboretum Visitor Center opens for the season on Memorial Day weekend. According to a press release, you can join Polly Hill staff at 9 am on Saturday, May 27, for an early bird tour to find out what’s happening on the grounds and to see some mature specimens of plants that will be on sale. From 10 am to 2 pm, staff will be on hand to answer questions about the selection of trees, shrubs, and perennials available for sale. These plants are chosen for their superior qualities and adaptability to our Island climate. This event is free and open to the public. Park and meet at the Visitor Center for the presale tour.
