We walk in a daze of unconscious assumptions
Oblivious of Divinity, assured of some whiteblack doom.
We walk in projections, in mazes of our own making
Separate from knowing our ocean origins —
Those first miracle swims in Her aquatic womb.
This gift given in blue and red-green time
Carries our bodies’ blood, in ocean brine.
These gifts given in eternal time
Carry our Body’s blood … in ocean brine.
