Bale-lifting thanks

To the Editor:

This past Saturday, Oct. 10th, the Oak Bluffs Public Library held its first Fall Fun Festival.

At this festival, we had a hay bale obstacle course, squash bowling, and potato sack races, along with many other fun fall activities. Overall it was a great success, with more than 150 people in attendance.

The library staff would like to give special thanks to two local businesses for helping us make this all possible. Firstly, we would like to thank Morning Glory Farm for their donation of the squash, pumpkins, potato sacks, and 20 hay bales. Without your generosity, we would not have been able to pull off the event. Thank you.

Secondly, we would like to thank Kyle Crossland and Crossland Landscape for donating their time, muscle, and dump truck to lug the hay bales to our library. Your kindness was extremely appreciated and allowed us to prepare for the event better than we could have planned. Thank you so much.
