To the Editor:
I have had the privilege of caring for a great many people at Vineyard Medical Services, and continuing through its transition to Vineyard Medical Care, for over 15 years. It has been deeply gratifying for me to work in partnership with my many patients to make their health the best it can be.
I find that it is now time to make a change, and so it is with some sadness that I am announcing that I will leave Vineyard Medical Care (VMC) effective Friday, April 15.
However, I will not be retiring. I am fortunate to be able to continue my practice at Island Health Care (IHC), the health center at the Triangle in Edgartown. Many of you will recall that I have worked there in the past, serving as the founding clinical director from 2004 to 2014, and I now have the opportunity to return.
I will be accepting patients at IHC starting Monday, April 18. The phone number to reach me there or make an appointment is 508-939-9358.
I will be away from March 24 to April 7, but available before and after those dates should any patient wish to talk with me about his or her continued care — whether at Vineyard Medical Care or at Island Health Care. Both offices will assist patients with any decision that they make.
I wish to thank my patients.
