Two Island teenagers missing since Monday were located in New York City on Wednesday by New York City police detectives.
Oak Bluffs Police Lieutenant Tim Williamson confirmed that Alyssa Whitney, 16, of Oak Bluffs was located in New York City by 13th Precinct detectives. Edgartown Police Lieutenant Chris Dolby said Megan Donovan, 16, of Edgartown, was located a short time later.
Island police are working with New York City officers to assure the safety of both young women.
