Looking to get rid of some old electronics? The Martha’s Vineyard Community Services can help.
The MVCS will hold its biannual Electronics Disposal Day on May 19 at its campus at 111 Edgartown–Vineyard Haven Road in Oak Bluffs. Recyclable electronics include air conditioners, cell phones, computers, copiers, dehumidifiers, fax machines, microwaves, monitors, laptops, printers, refrigerators, scanners, stereo equipment, televisions, washers, dryers, scrap metal, and more.
Recycling fees range from $2 to $30 per item. A 10 percent discount will be given for full car loads. The environmentally friendly off-Island disposal will benefit the programs and services of MVCS.
