The Island Alpaca Co. gift shop invites you to browse a large variety of quality alpaca products and luxurious garments, many crafted with yarn made from the fleece of their own alpaca.

Island Alpaca shears its herd annually, producing an average yield of six to seven pounds per animal of soft, durable and lustrous fiber. This is transformed into the yarns and products available both at their farm and on-line stores.

Island Alpaca’s products include hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, slippers, socks, jackets, sweaters, blankets, toys, gifts, including fur teddies, hand felted alpaca and much more.

Everything is as soft as cashmere and is warmer, lighter, and stronger than sheep’s wool. The soft, fine alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic and is the ultimate in thermal insulation, with strength, elasticity and moisture-absorbing properties.

Visit Island Alpaca Co. farm to meet their gentle, playful animals that produce this wonderful by-product, and discover the benefits of alpaca ownership.

Island Alpaca Co. of Martha’s Vineyard. Alpaca and products are sold seven days a week, year-round at the farm’s store at 1 Head of the Pond Road, Oak Bluffs, and online at islandalpaca.com. 508/693/5554, info@islandalpaca.com.

Join the farm for their 11th annual Shearing Day Event, Saturday, April 28, 2018, 10 am to 4 pm.
