A frost advisory is in effect through 8 am Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory includes Martha’s Vineyard, as well as Cape Cod and Rhode Island. Temperatures are forecast in the low to mid-30s, according to the advisory.
Temperatures are expected to drop after midnight and frost could cause damage to sensitive outdoor plants.
