Windemere’s beloved therapy dog, Cody Soquist, died on May 10. According to a letter from Windemere’s Betsy Burmeister to The Times, “Cody worked at Windemere faithfully for 13 years. He touched hundreds of lives; staff, residents, families, and volunteers all loved him so much. He brought smiles to faces and healed broken hearts. Every day he strolled the halls, letting us pet him and talk with him. He was such a great listener. We are all devastated by the loss of our dear, sweet angel.Thank you, Cody. We will see you again.”
