The Steamship Authority has announced that its Oak Bluffs ticket office is scheduled to open Sunday, May 16, when ferry service to the terminal begins for the season. The Oak Bluffs terminal will be be open through Oct. 15.
Tickets will be available beginning at 7:15 am daily, with ticket sellers available to assist customers who need to make reservations, including preferred spaces for Island residents.
There are seven daily round-trips scheduled between Oak Bluffs and Woods Hole through June 14. After that, the ferry trips increase to nine trips each way through Sept. 6.
The Oak Bluffs ticket office closes 30 minutes after the last ferry departs. The 2017 ferry schedule is available online at steamshipauthority.com/schedules. For more information, call 508-477-8600 or 508-693-9130.
