Sara Goodale, Emily Boyd, and Amy Maeda of Island Gymnastics all competed in the Xcel Silver District Cup on Saturday, April 8, at Planet Gymnastics in Acton. All three girls qualified for the state championships, to be held on May 6 in Wilmington. Sara Goodale placed seventh on vault and bars with scores of 9.35 and 9.05, respectively. Emily Boyd placed fifth on vault (9.0), and Amy Maeda placed sixth on bars (9.025).
