Oak Bluffs boys defeat Charter School, 51-18
The Oak Bluffs boys improved to 5-0 with a convincing 51-18 win over the Charter School, Tuesday at the Oak Bluffs School.
Miles McNeal led the Blazers with 12 points, followed by Joshua Billings with 11. Eight different players got on the score sheet for O.B.
Ty Mathew and Isaac Richards were the high scorers for the Charter Chargers, with six points apiece.
Edgartown boys tame Tisbury Tigers, 71-28
The Edgartown Eagles stayed unbeaten on Tuesday with a 71-28 win over the visiting Tisbury Tigers.
Aiden Rogers poured in 32 points for Edgartown. Jayden Coyle added 15 more. Dylan Burke and Parker Ben David keyed the Eagles’ tenacious defense. Hiaggo Gonsalves and Gabe Brito were other standout performers.
Mike Trusty had 14 points to lead Tisbury. Nate Porterfield and Aiden Marck also had strong games for the Tigers.
West Tisbury girls top Charter School, 26-18
The West Tisbury girls defeated the Charter School 26-18, Tuesday in West Tisbury.
Josie Welch scored seven points, and Bella Thorpe added six more for the victorious Hawks.
Maria Andrade scored six points to lead the Charter Chargers.
